| 3. Agency groups (1) If you are interested in immediate worldwide publication for your works, but feel your negotiation skills in foreign languages are not very good, go for large agencies. Get in contact with your local branch of an international agency group with at least ten members of staff. Large agencies might give you the impression of resembling a department store, but do not underestimate their international contacts. They are also useful with regards to realizing your further exploitation rights such as subsidiary rights for film, television or merchandizing. |
